Fatt Mattz Backstory
Back in 2003, whilst working at the Uni bar for drinking money, I discovered beef jerky. On the tips jar I made an amendment that read "Tips for Jerky Money" to feed my habit. Was the available jerky brand amazing? No, and far from it. So what did I do? Create my own.
Born from a desire for a high quality product that just didn't exist, I sourced a dehydrator and got to work. The results were impressive and a passion was born. Fast forward 16 years and the time came to leave the corporate life for a passion project, Fatt Mattz was born.
